The Kofa National Wildlife Refuge (KNWR) is located on the east side of AZ Hwy-95 about 10 miles south of Quartzsite AZ and about 40 miles north of Yuma. No Permits Required. On the west side of the Refuge there are good places for Dry RV Camping. The Refuge has lots of 4×4 Trails as well as High Clearance Trails. I am told that the area is very scenic and there is lots of wildlife. See:
