Often new 4 Wheelers are confused about terms we use. They sometimes confuse Lockers with Locking (Manual) Hubs.
Lockers means you have a differential that applies power to both wheels on an axle regardless of a different resistance on that wheel. Â Without lockers, if one wheel is off the ground the remaining wheel on the ground gets no power. Â The wheel with the least resistance gets the power. Â Limited slip Differentials do the similar thing. Â Lockers and Limited Slip mechanisms are inside your differential.
Locking Hubs, when unlocked, basically disconnect the wheel from the axle so it spins freely. Â Locking hubs are on the end of the axle.
